    1859 (Dec 20): Great Britain 1857 4 d. rose, a used example tied to 1859 cover from Castries to Barbados by superb strike of "A11" obliterator in black. Reverse with ST. LUCIA double arc cds (Dec 20) and 'Barbadoes' double arc arrival cds (Dec 25) in black with '1' in manuscript for local delivery. The latest use recorded in Parmenter & Gordon. Just three covers recorded of which this is, without doubt, the finest. An exceptionally charming and extremely rare cover. Cert.
