Coard, recess printed at the Courier newspaper, Hobart 1853: 4 d. orange, Plate II, worn impression on thick hard paper from position 20 out of 24, a fine cut square unused example without gum, fair to good margins, excellent colour. A very rare and desirable stamp in unused condition. Cert. Ceremuga (2018) Gi = £ 7'000.rnNote: The SG listings for plate II are very inadequate, as plate II also occurs in more distinct shades, and in both early and worn impressions as is listed in SG for plate I.

    1856/57: Perkins Bacon Die Proofs on card paper (4), reprinted from the rejected Die of the 6 d. value without inscriptions, the central vignette carefully inserted, four examples in varying sizes but showing the engine turning fancy surround on each, printed in carmine, deep green, scarlet and orange-vermilion. Scarce and most attractive.
