    1768 (March 25): Entire letter from Barcelona endorsed 'Par Hamburg' to Glückstadt, 'â Dinamarque' Denmark (thereafter Schleswig Holstein) with framed CATALUNA straight line handstamp in black (Guinovart & Tizon = 1'000 pts.) on obverse and charged '20' (deleted) and re-rated '22' skilling in red crayon. A charming and unusual entire to an extraordinary destination at this date.

    1780 (Aug 8): Entire letter from Cadiz to Langensaltza (Kursachsen) struck with fine CADIZ despatch handstamp in red (Guinovart & Tizon = 300 pts.), various charge marks in manuscript including '13' and '4' deleted for Thurn & Taxis post (17 sols), '12½' in red ink (groschen) and '17½' in red crayon (groschen) and reverse with '24 d'acc.' paid on receipt. A colourful and most attractive entire.

    1660/1798: Selection of 20 letters from the Iberian Peninsula, incl. early 1660 Forwarder from Madrid to Italy, 1684 letter from Cadiz to Livorno, 1693 letter from Napoli via Spanish P.O. in Genova to Madrid, 1737 letter taxed with 2 L 14 c. sent 'via di Francia' from Barcelona to Genova, 'B.Cataluna' h.s. on 1776 letter to Palermo, 1786 Crown cancel and ANDALUCIA/VA XA on letter from Malaga to Napoli (signed Vollmeier), 1789 'V/VALEN/CIA oval h.s. on letter to Genova, taxed with £2.6, together with four printed documents from Naples to Madrid as well as four letters from Lisbon to Italy.

    1851: 6 c. black, a fine used example on July 1, 1851 entire from Barcelona to the Alcazar of Segovia endorsed "Muestras sin valor" (Samples without value) tied by 'araña' in black. The contents are from the sister of the young Caballero Cadete but the additional enclosure is missing, nevertheless a rare and early Sample Mail entire.

    1850/1965: Real old time collection with seveal hundred stamps used/unused, showing a broad variety in the early years with colour shades and cancellations, set King Alfons XIII up to 10 Ptas., Cervantes set of 1905 unused as well as fine used, full set UPU congress Madrid 1920, later commemorative sets as Red Cross 1926, Coronation 1927, Sevilla and Barceloa exhibitions 1929, Submarine mail 1938 (full set and singles from the souvenir sheet), various souvenir sheets, airmails, surcharged values, reconstruction of the church 'Virgen del Pilar' (both sets), high values up to 50 Ptas., visit of the Gaudillo at the Canaries and many more, also some Colonials as well as a few duplicats, mainly in very good condition and housed in two albums and on album pages, a lot that needs careful inspection.

    1822/34: Disinfected entire letters (3) two treated at the Bayonne Lazaret, with 1822 printed prices current entire from Madrid to Paris slitted and toasted, 1823 entire to Naples with two strikes of MALLORCA straight line in red and disinfected at Perpignan, 1834 entire to London with SANTIAGO / DE / GALICIA despatch and rare "1 oz. at 8s/8d per Oz" italic handstamp and rated thus in manuscript.
