Reverse with framed 'BOMBAY / Bearing' datestamp (July 10) in black and 15 rs. charge. Interesting content: "I got home about a week ago, having left the 'Brighton' at St. Helena. I returned in the Valparaiso, a faster vessel...address my letters to the care of Baring Brothers & Co. in London". Some minor acid ink faults but a good strike of a very scarce marking.rnrnrn

The second 2 pi. adhesive with some small imperfections at top, the huge franking representing a 120 gram rate at the 1 piastre 'Port-to-Port' fee or an 'honorific' franking. A spectacular cover.
