    1920 (Feb): Scouts, Essay for the Surcharge on Waterlow print 2 s. yellow-brown, the surcharge in black similar to that adopted for the third issue, part of circular Control handstamp on reverse, fresh and fine with large part og. Rare.rnrnNote: The Surcharge Trials were applied on the 2 s. and 3 s. (see Corinphila sale 220, Nov 2017, lot 3492), the Trial surcharges being known in both red and in black. A se-tenant block of eight of the 3 s. is known with this surcharge struck in both colours (see Feldman Singapore sale, Sept 1995, lot 10686).

    1920 (Feb): 5 satang on 4 a. carmine-rose on cream postal stationery cards (2), overprinted 'Scout's Fund' Type I and Type II respectively in black, usual small imperfections but very rare; also King Vajiravudh 2 s. brown and 3 s. green stationery cards (two of each), similarly overprinted with Type I and Type II, these four cards however are all severely toned; nevertheless a rare group. All signed M. Bojanowicz.

A fine lot.
