    New South Wales & Victoria Combination Cover 1871: NSW 2 d. blue, perf. 13, a fine example in a deep shade in combination with Victoria 6 d. blue, perf. 12½, used on 1876 cover endorsed 'via Melbourne' and 'via Southampton' to London, each tied by neat strikes of "49" numeral obliterators of Wagga Wagga in black. Reverse with 'Wagga Wagga' despatch cds (Jan 23) and Melbourne cds (Jan 25) with London 'Paid' cds on front of arrival. The cover with some sealed closed tears and sympathetic corner repair at upper left but a charming and rare usage.
