    1852: 40 c. black on blue, a superb large margined example used on 1853 entire letter carried at double rate from Reggio via Switzerland to Paris endorsed 'voie d'Huningue', tied by barred obliterator with two line 'Reggio' despatch in black (April 15) with unframed 'Dopo La Partenza' (Too Late) marking also in black. Two line VIA DI / CHIASSO in red and 'Autriche / Beau. Fr. 2 De Bale' entry marking at right in red (April 20) and Paris arrival on reverse where locally redirected. An exceptionally rare single franking in impeccable quality. Cert. Colla (1998) Sassone = € 20'000.
