    Postal Fraud 1890: Cover from Lima to Cajamarca franked by 1884 10 c. slate previously used at Etén, struck alongside adhesive with circular ESTAMPILLAS / USADA in black. Taxed on arrival in Lima (Aug 22) at 100 centavos (a fine of 10x the rate) with triangle overprinted Postage Due 50 c. brown pair tied in black. Cajamarca eventual arrival on front (Sept 10). Sensibly opened for display, a scarce usage Scott = $ 500+.
