    British P.O. in Alexandria 1851 (Sept 8): Unpaid cover mailed at British P.O. in ALEXANDRIA with double arc cds in black on reverse, sent to London via Malta with 'Purifi´Au Lazaret / Malte' on reverse. Re-addressed on arrival in London with 1841 1 d. red-brown tied by London obliterator to Bristol (Sept 19) after payment of 2/4 d. manuscript due charge. Slightly grubby but an unusual usage.
