    1941: Palm Trees 4 p. ultramarine & black, a mint block of four showing variety: 'Frame Doubled', most easily seen at top in the horizontal frame lines, the '4' in value tablet being noticeably thinner in the horizontal bar, a fine mint block with superb og., sold together with a used example showing the variety (cert. Hass, 1991) and a normal block for comparison. The error was due to a blanket shift in the off-set lithographic printing process.
