    2½ pi. violet, single example used on 1872 entire letter to Vienna tied by double ring (Type IV-3.1) POSTE KEDEVIE EGIZIANE / CAIRO datestamps in black (April 13) with repeated fine strike alongside. Italic 'Franca' used in lieu of 'PD' applied on despatch and reverse with 'Too Late / After Departure' handstamp 'Dopo la Partenza' in black applied in transit (not the Egyptian two line type) alongside Vienna arrival cds (15/5) in black. Some aging but a rare combination of scarce postmarks. Signed Todd AIEP.
