    1798 (Sept 17): Entire letter written (1 complimentaire),  from newly occupied Cairo mailed to Menou's Division at Rosetta, struck internally with circular 'Depôt Genéral de la Guerre / Ministère de la Guerre' and on the front of the cover with rare two line ARM. DE LA MEDNEE / 1RE DIV.ON handstamp in black. Very rare. Wolfsbauer recorded just 12 covers used between May 1798 and April 1799.
