    1873 (Feb 4): Registered cover to Paris franked by vertical pair of Great Britain 1865/73 4 d. vermilion, pl. 12 tied by A25 obliterator handstamps in black. Fine REGISTERED / MALTA datestamp at left in red and corresponding CHARGÉ applied in Marseilles. Reverse with registered rate box and part wax seals AMB. / MARSEILLE with part string attached. A fine and scarce usage.
