    Type 1A. 1868: Cover to Calcutta via Marseilles at 1 s. 1 d. rate, franked by 1 d. red pl. 116 and horizontal pair of 1867 6 d. bright violet pl. 6 (first week of use), the pair with vertical misperforation and with straight edge at right, tied by London / EC 80 duplexes (July 31). Reverse with fine oval SEA POST OFFICE / (B) datestamp (Aug 11), without Set Letter, struck at Suez in blue. Carried on the second sailing of the 'Rangoon' with Calcutta arrival datestamp (Aug 25) in red.
