    1859 (Aug 27): Entire letter from Bogotá to New York with blue oval BOGOTA FRANCA and Tax '25' in blue on front and on reverse, with clear large circular ADMINISTRACION DE CORREOS DE COLON / FRANCA in red, carried with Forwarder C.J.Fox from Aspinwall to New York.  Fresh and attractive entire, mailed just a few days before the 1859 postage stamps were issued.
