    Guadalajara 8 r. red-lilac with large margins in a rich shade, fine 4 r. carmine, 2 r. yellow green and 1 r. yellow, all used on large part of registered front containing 'Billetes', all cancelled by circular FRANCO / GUADALAJARA datestamps (Schatzkes fig. 297) with two 'mute whirl' handstamps at left (Schatzkes fig. 300) and framed CERTIFICADO EN GUADALAJARA boxed cachet dated in manuscript '23 Junio 1858' (Schatzkes fig 296A). A magnificent large piece with a four colour franking of which few are recorded and extremely rare thus. Cert. Jaretzky (1987).
