    Morelia 4 r. carmine and horizontally bisected 4 r. carmine used on September 7, 1861 cover from Morelia to Mexico City to pay the 6 reales rate, neatly ties by FRANCO / MORELIA datestamp (Schatzkes fig. 901) in black. Cover with one or two scuffs on face panel but of great rarity - very few covers exist with a single and a bisected example on the same letter. Signed A. Diena. Cert. Jaretzky (1987).
