    1 d. green, two examples used on 1870 entire letter to Paris, minor faults to adhesives which are tied by framed IQUIQUE handstamps in black. British P.O. 'Callao' single ring datestamp on reverse (Oct 12) and thence via London with red cds (Nov 14) and struck with framed 'GB / 1F 90c.' accountancy marking. Calais transit and charged due with handstruck '24' (double rate) in black. Paris was under siege by the Prussians at this date. Faults but a rare 'Entrance Tentative' entire.
