    1 d. blue-green, variety 'Frame Inverted', a fine used example with clear to large margins all round, used on 1872 envelope to Paris, France cancelled by LIMA / 13 / DIC /1872 datestamp in black. Correpsonding sender's cachet in blue below and reverse with 'Callao' British P.O. datestamp (Dec14) and London transit cds (Jan 13, 1873) in red. Framed 'GB / 1F 90c.' Accountancy marking applied in London and charged with handstruck '15' décimes due marking on receipt. Small envelope repair at top but very rare - Herbert Moll records just 5 covers with this variety, this being the sole example to be mailed abroad. Cert. PF (1994).
