    1 d. vermilion, single example and a strip of five all used on registered 1867 cover to Chachapoyas, the single cancelled by dotted YQUITOS handstamp and the strip by two complete strikes of framed CERTIFICACION handstamp (Lamy & Rinck fig. 99) in blue. Reverse with docketing of sender and two 'Chachapoyas' arrival datestamps (June 18) and pre-philatelic transit handstamp MOYOB.A in black. Minor imperfections of no significance, a delightful and most attractive cover.

    Note: Registration was charged at 5 dineros from decree of 1866.
