    1807 (July 14): Entire letters (2) from Merida to Santa Fe (both addressed to Camilo Torres, an important 'liberator'), with clear ornamental handstamps MERIDA DE / MAR AC. INDIAS / FRANCA / PICON and similarly fine unpaid 1807 cover struck with MERIDA DE / MAR AC. INDIAS / DEBE with manuscript '3' reales due (Tison = EXT for both). Very fresh condition, a fine and elusive pair.
