    Repubblica Sociale 1944: 'Imperial' definitive 50 l. violet with proof overprints types k, l and m in black and red of the Instituto Poligrafico in Rome, the compl. set of four values in blocks of four from the top left sheet margin with margin inscription "IL FOGLIO..", stamps unmounted og with some marginal hinge remnants. An extraordinary lot of these proofs which have a print run of only 200 examples. Several signatures on reverse, cert. Giulio Bolaffi (1950) Sassone = EUR 97'500.
