    1865: 10 c. bright violet, a fine appearing example, marginal from top of sheet but just touched on vertical framelines at sides, used on April 14, 1865 entire letter to Bogota tied by oval framed PALMIRA / FRANCA handstamp in black. Minor file folds away from the adhesive but a rare early usage of this issue. Cert. Moorhouse (2014).
