    Gorée (Senegal) 1859/65: Eagle General Issues 40 c. orange in a block of four, used on 1862 cover to USA tied by dotted lozenge in blue, with GORÉE datestamp of despatch at upper right (April 1). Thence via Bordeaux (April 20) with red datestamp. Struck with framed 'Am Service' in red, arriving New York (May 6) with 'New York / Paid / 30' datestamp in red. Further stamp removed from front of cover, not mentioned in cert. Behr (2010).
