    1866: Dom Pedro 500 r. orange, four examples used on 1877 Boris Frères cover to Paris, with 'Cereá' datestamp at left (June 10) of despatch, the adhesives all tied by segmented cork handstamps. Circular red 'PD' at lower left and carried by Steamer 'Pernambuco' with blue Calais entry marking on front (July 1). Reverse with Pernambuco transit cds (June 13). Usual slight ageing but a remarkable 2'000 reis franking.
