1 d. green, Coil Join exaample used on 1872 cover to San Francisco,in combination with Great Britain 1867/73 9 d. straw pl. 4, slight faults, each tied by heavy strikes of "C38" British P.O. in Callao obliterator and by circular 'San Francisco' arrival datestamp (April 4). British P.O. Callao cds on reverse Feb 19), British P.O. 'Panama' cds (March 1) on front and oval STEAM / PANAMA at left. Charged with handstruck '10' on arrival. Corner missing from the envelope but a rarity.
