1 pi. red, fine appearing used example cancelled by large part CANAL DE SUEZ / RAZ-EL-ECH datestamp (25 JANV 1869) of the Suez Canal P.O. struck in black. The cancellation is recorded used between February and November 1869. Stamp with fault but a very fine and readable strike of this very elusive cancellation - this being the earliest known used example from Raz-El-Ech. Extremely rare. Cert. Hass (2008).
