    1863 (June 29): Entire letter to Livorno, Italy at triple rate, struck on despatch with rare pearled SUEZ / BAU FRANCAIS datestamp in black. Framed  PIROSCAFI / POSTALI / FRANCESI alongside with handstruck '1' deleted as found to be triple weight and manuscript '30' substituted. Reverse with French P.O. in Alexandria cds, Messina transit (July 4) and Livorno-Firenze T.P.O. datestamp (July 9). Rare.
