    1872 (Feb 5): Large part cover to Egypt franked by Great Britain 1870 1 ½ d. lake-red horizontal pair tied by West Hartlepool '029' duplex, with two line INSUFFICIENTLY / PREPAID alongside in black. On arrival (Feb 14) via French P.O. the part cover was mailed on with Egypt 1872 1 pi. red, typographed, tied by V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE / ALESSANDRIA cds (Feb 15) in black. Scarce and attractive piece.
