    1849 (Nov 19): Overland Mail entire letter from Ghazapore, India to Gand, Belgium; struck with framed INDIA PAID in red, thence via British P.O. ALEXANDRIA (Dec 22) in black, disinfected with circular 'Puirifié Au Lazaret / Malte' in transit and reverse with Gand arrival in red (Jan 4, 1850). An unusual destination for Overland Mail and the cover displays well.
