    Peninsular Campaign 1810/11: Three entire letters to England (two to Harlow, Essex and one to London), the earliest (Oct 1810) written from Lisbon with interesting content regarding the surrender of Almeida and the arrest of a French Colonel taken by 'peasants' and handed over to the writer's charge; mailed to Harlow at a charge of 2/4 d. with Foreign Office datestamp of arrival (Nov 13); a similar entire to London written from Lisbon in June 1811 and the thrid entire (July 1811) written at Camp near Orontes similarly charged.
