    Far East Republic / Chita 1923 (Jan 3): Registered cover to New York, sensibly opened for Exhibit display, franked on reverse with Dece 1921 Chita issue 10 k. blue, red & black and 30 k. green, orange & black imperforate, tied by Vladivostock datestamps in black and by violet Seattle transit cds. New York arrival (Jan 27) in violet alongside. Just trimmed at base but a fine and scarce franking.
