    40 pa. deep blue on white wove paper, a fine four margined example, small stain at base not detracting from appearance, used on attractive cover to Galatz, neatly cancelled by framed oval FRANCO / JASSY handstamp (Kiriac fig. 311) with 'Jassy / Moldova' cds at right (Dec 1) both in red (fig. 279). Reverse with Galatz arrival cds (Dec 3) in black. A charming and rare cover. Cert. Sottoriva (2005) and Heimbüchler (2005).
