    Lithographed 5 c. red-brown used on 1854 outer letter sheet from Valparaiso to Santiago, some file folds and tears to cover, the adhesive with four margins and showing transfer flaw at top 'POPIE' for 'PORTE' and, below 'CHILF' for 'CHILE'. Lightly tied by target cancel in black leaving the flaws clear, Valparaiso cds at left (Nov 4) in red. Small article from 'Chile Filatelico' accompanies the cover.
