260 r. deep brown used on 200 r. black postal stationery envelope with 1881 50 r. blue pair and 1884 10 r. orange (4) sent registered to a Captain in the 63rd Rifle Regiment in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The adhesives all tied by bold CAMPINAS datestamps (Feb 3, 1886) and thence via London (Feb 25) to Halifax (March 7). A delightful and rare cover to an unusual destination.
