    1856 (Sept 13): Entire letter from Bahia to Porto struck with superb strike of circular COMPAGNIE FRANCO-AMERICAINE / AGENCE DE BAHIA in green, disinfected by chisel slits on arrival in Lisbon. Reverse with 'P.Transatlantico' in yellow (Oct 16) and Porto arrival in black and charged '80' reis to recipient. Scarce and fine entire.
