Girardot Provisional 1921 (Oct): VALOR 30 Ctvos / S.C.A.T.A. surcharge in black on 50 c. pale green from base of sheet, a fine used example with incomplete overprint (missing most of "Ctvos.") cancelled by Barranquilla violet time clock and handstruck "14 Nov 1921". Minor thin and nick in margin at base otherwise very fine and most attractive. The earliest recorded date of issue, although both Michel and Gibbons state October as the issue date.
