Surcharged VALOR 10 CENTAVOS on 50 c. pale green (Type b) handstamped diagonally in blue reading down to right (one with "E" of "Centavos" omitted), a fine vertical pair used with un-surcharged single 50 c. pale green on flown 1921 repaired cover front carried at triple rate from Girardot to Barranquilla, cancelled by oval SOCIEDAD COLOMBO ALEMANA / CORREOS AEREOS / GIRARDOT on arrival in green and Colombia postage 1917 3 c. red on yellow strip of three tied by boxed Barranquilla handstamps in blue. Front with file fold between stamps and trimmed at base, however this represents a unique mixed franking. Signed Francis Field.
