2 c. carmine-rose, horizontal mint pair, positions 5-6, showing the variety: "arabic 1" in "18-19" at base of overprint on first stamp and position 6 showing the "tail" to "1" in "1er." at top, a fine multiple of excellent colour, centering and large part original gum. A rarity, just four mint pairs are recorded from any positions and three showing positions 5-6 (two of which are cut into by scissor cuts at base).
