Cartago-Cali-Popayan Route 1806 (May 10): Entire letter from Buga to Popayan, distance 47 leagues / 373 kms., struck with framed BUGA handstamp in brown (Tizon 1 = RRR) with superb DEBE (Tizon 3 = RRR) alongside. Manuscript "1½" reales at left for a single letter up to ½ ounce to pay on arrival. Exceptional and rare, the earliest recorded "Debe" marking from Buga.
