Cartagena-Magdalena River-Santa Fé de Bogotá Route 1778 (Oct 27): Entire letter from Guaduas to Santa Fé de Bogotá, distance 19 leagues / 106 kms., with superb strike of the rare contracted GUADAS handstamp (Tizon 1 = RRR) struck in black. Rate 1½ reales for a single letter up to ½ ounce. A charming, early and extremely rare entire, the earliest recorded usage of this handstamp.
