1862 (July 16): Entire letter sent Insured, from Galatz to Vienna; with weight marked at right '3¼ lot' (approx. 1½ ounces) and endorsed 'Accompanied by a pouch of money, weight 97 lot'. Prepaid at the enormous charge at top of Postage 30 kr. + 95 kr. Insurance in manuscript and struck with straight line FRANCO and LAUT ANGABE in green alongside GALLATZ cds in same ink (Tchilinghirian figs743, 746 and unlisted).
