    1866 (Dec 5): Registered cover to Vienna franked by Levant 1864 5 s. rose, perf. 9½, in a fine horizontal strip of three and, for registration two further examples of the 5 s. rose on reverse torn on opening the letter; all cancelled by scarce BUKAREST / RECOMMANDIRT oval datestamp (Tchilinghirian fig. 716) in black. Vienna arrival on reverse of a rare cover. Signed Kessler, Ferchenbauer.
