    1825: Entire letters (2), both written in Sephardic, with May 1825 entire from Bucharest to Semlin and struck with 'Turquie' handstamp in black with reverse showing part 'Sanitatis Sigullum' cachet and red wax seal applied in Rothenturn and charged 14 kreuzers due; second entire from Semlin to Bucharest with oval 'Semlin' despatch, 'TUR' handstamp in black and prepaid 28 kreuzers, again disinfected at Rothenturn. A fine pair.
    Note: For some reason between the years 1825 and 1837, the mails were not handstamped at the Austrian Office in Bucharest, being only marked 'Turquie' or 'TUR'.
