    1782 (Nov 16): Entire letter from Smyrna to London forwarded from Constantinople by George Abbot 'Rec'd in Galata 29 Nov', and sent on to Vienna where again forwarded: 'Vienne le 14 Dec 1782 recu par Freres Smitmer' and struck there with gothic 'Von Wien' handstamp in black. Opened and disinfected at Semlin with part wax seal on flap. Thence via Ostend to London (Dec 31) and charged 1 shilling to recipient. Fine and scarce entire.
