    1492 (Nov 20) and 1492 (Dec 20): Two entire letters from Constantinople carried on the Venetian Ambassador's Post (Publico Dispazzo), each with some staining that may or may not be from the disinfection process in Venice on arrival; one with string seal still attached. A marvellous pair showing dates at top of each by seal, sent during the month and year Colombus first landed in the Americas.
