    30 reis grey-black, 60 reis grey-black and 90 reis grey; the set of three values of fine appearance with large margins all round, each cancelled by scarce framed SERGIPE handstamp (Ayres 1498) in brown. The 30 reis showing marginal frame lines on two sides, the 60 reis (Plate 1, position 3) with manuscript "Abr. 30" date at top and the 90 reis with horizontal frame line at top, all with minor or large acid ink faults but a rare set.
