60 reis black, Early Impression, a four margined example, used as seal on reverse of March 1845 cover from Vassouras to Sorocaba via Rio de Janeiro; cancelled by bold strike of framed VA. DE VASSOURAS handstamp in black (Ayres 1530). Cover folded for better Exhibit display, the obverse showing Correio Geral Da Corte datestamp (March 15). Small faults to address panel through acid ink, the adhesive removed, cleaned and replaced.
