90 reis grey-black, Intermediate to Worn Impression, the famous multiple from the 2nd Composite Plate being a vertical strip of three (positions 1/7/13) and a block of fifteen re-joined to form the complete pane, the lower two stamp at left (positions 13-14) showing 'pli d'accordeon' pre-printing paper flaw, the multiple with minor imperfections as to be expected in a block of this size, all stamps being lightly cancelled by ten strikes of the framed CIDADE DE NICTHEROY handstamps (Ayres 1371) in black.
