    1862 (Nov 24): Cover at double rate to Copenhagen franked with mixed issue franking of 1855/57 1 s. green and 1862/64 9 d. straw tied by "West Hartlepool/947" duplexes. Reverse with London cds in red, Danish P.O. in Hamburg cds (Nov 28) and Copenhagen arrival cds. Manuscript notation of "1/1 d." for German Postal Union and "4" silvergroschen for Danish share. A fine cover with a rare mixed issue usage.
